TO OUR FAMILIES:

Our big day would never have happened without each and every one of you. Not only did everyone go OVER AND ABOVE to help make the day go off perfectly but you have always been a constant source of support and encouragement in both of our lives. We are forever grateful and are so thrilled to have merged into one big happy clan!

Jenny!

To Miss Jenny Markham:

The lovely lady shown above photographed our day for us. She is not only my intern but one rad human being, and a fantastic friend. It's been such an incredible experience watching her grow and develop her own killer style. Be sure to check out her work HERE... This girl has quite the career ahead of her!

Rachel by Paige Jones

Rachel (figgy) Bernard:

This lady not only put up with me and all of my ideas since the day we got engaged, but she actually made them come to life. She baked all of the incredible goods for the wedding, she designed the invitations, maps and chalkboards for the day. She made my flower crown, did my hair, coordinated everything the day of, made sure my glass was filled with wine at all times, cooked bacon for breakfast and a MILLION other things that would take up pages and pages... Rachel we love you and are so thankful to have you in our lives!

RYAN BAIR:

Ryan was our officiant and the speech he delivered could not have been more perfect. Keith and I will cherish those words for the rest of our lives. Anyone who attended the wedding knows that I was a sloppy mess the entire time, and had it not been for Ryan, I don't think I would have gotten a single word out! Ryan has always, always, always been there for me and Keith and I are beyond blessed have him in our lives!

MARTHA WEBB:

Martha Webb is an extremely talented artist based out of the UK and she was kind enough to let me borrow my dream dress for the wedding. Words can't express how much this meant to me, I'll never forget it! Please check out her amazing work HERE.

CASA DE PERRIN:

Diana, Josh and Libby are three of the most genuine people I have ever met. Casa De Perrin supplied all of the amazing Navajo plates, wine glasses, and whiskey tumblers at the wedding. Without going into too much detail let me just say, these people went over and above the call of duty and truly made our day a thousand times better. Anytime you have any need for this kind of rental, do yourself a favor and give the Casa a call! They also recently launched an online store, you can actually OWN some of these insanely beautiful pieces! Drool over every stunning piece H E R E.

EVERYONE:

Keith and I were so overwhelmed with all of the love and support we received on our big day. People traveled far and wide to be there and everyone helped make our wedding the best day of our lives! Thank you thank you thank you to each and every one of you who attended and a BIG thank you to all of those who helped us out with all of our little projects!

The Cream Event.

The Cream Event, for those who don't know, is one hell of a party to showcase the raddest vendors in the wedding industry. And the lovely ladies of BASH PLEASE asked me to be among them! It was such an honor to be amongst the best in the biz, everyone really pulled out all the stops and went big on their displays. Here are few snapshots from the wedding event of the year!

Things got heated on the dance floor folks, there was a trip to Cabo on the line and the contestants BROUGHT it!

Special thanks to BASH PLEASE for putting on this INCREDIBLE event!

Be sure to check  out more photos up on 100 layer cake and Inspired by this!

Flower Crowns

I'm not sure that there is anything more fun than playing dress up for your wedding, especially when you have a super talented friend who wants to play as well!

Here's a fun (and affordable!) little project that the lovely Rachel (from Figgy Bakery) and I worked on a few weeks ago:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Supplies:

- Floral Tape - Floral Wire - Wire cutters - Pliers - An assortment of your favorite flowers (we used Mums, Asters, Purple Iris, Yellow Salidago and some greenery)

- Your favorite bottle of Red (get those creative juices flowing!)

Instructions:

Step one: Create a circle that fits comfortably around your head, that is accessible to remove and put back on whenever you would like. You can double up on the wire to make for a more sturdy base crown, or use just one; Either works.

Step two: Cut your first bloom and place it on your crown, in the desired location and direction you would like the flowers going. You can switch up the direction of flowers at any point, if you feel. Using roughly 3 inches of floral wire, use to wrap the bloom tightly around the wire crown to keep in place. You can use your hands or pliers to wrap the wire tight.

Step three: Take your floral tape, and wrap it around the bloom to cover the wire.

Step Four: Continue this same process with more blooms, layering around the wire crown until you form a solid crown of gorgeous flowers.

Be sure to check out the feature over on 100 layer cake!
